We’d love to see what your kids are creating when they observe anything relative to CCT Lavender Farm, such as lavender flowers, café building, or any creatures in the lavender field. This year we are honored to cooperate and support Heart Kids NZ to run this activity. These special kids are so lovely, if you are not in this bubble, you won’t know their stories. We are sharing their stories; we hope more and more people share love to them and support these families.

 

Little Artist event includes two stages: Online selection and Onsite voting.

Firstly, all little artists need to submit their drawing according to the requirements. Online voting will select the top 10 drawings by collection of “Likes” from our Facebook page.

​

Secondly, all top 10 drawings from each group (total 30 drawings) will be printed out and displayed onsite during 2023 to 2024 CCT Lavender Flower season. All our customers visiting during this time will be welcome to vote at our café.

 

The onsite voting will decide the top 8 drawings, the top 8 little artists will receive prizes, all top 8 drawings will be printed onto the postcards, so they can use it with pride. We are happy to let you know, for each postcard sold, 20% will be donated to Heart Kids NZ Organization. We will support these loving families together. Can’t wait to see how clever and creative all the little artists are.

Drawing Requirements, Subject and Format

​

Little artists participating in the event are aged between 5 years old to 16 years old. The drawing subject is anything relating to CCT Lavender Farm including lavender flowers, café building and creatures in the lavender farm. Drawings can relate to your own experience onsite, previous photoshoots or the photos from our Facebook photo album.

 

The top 10 drawings from each group will be displayed in A3 size at our café. Drawings can be created with technical and stylistic freedom (sketching, watercolor, acrylic, oil painting, digital drawings and so on) on any material (canvas, paper, wood, plastics, iron, etc.).

 

*Non-compliance with the criteria will disqualify entries.

How to Submit

 

• Digital drawings/scan of drawings can be submitted using the online form at the bottom of this page

• Please fill your Children’s name, age and caregivers contact details.

• A confirmation email will be sent within 2 days after submission. Please contact us if you have not received this email.

• Jpg/Png format is preferable and single file size is no more than 10mb. PDF is NOT supported.

• Maximum of 2 drawings per person. Only the first two drawings will be accepted if the participant has submitted and excessive number of files.

Online Selection

 

The Submitted drawings will be posted on CCT Lavender Facebook page with full attribution to the original artist into 3 groups based on submitting time. For each group, the Top 10 most liked drawings will be voted by all public viewers (by the number of FB likes) within 7 days:

 

The First Group: The drawings will be submitted between 23 Oct – 29 Oct 2023.

Like Collection of 1st Posting Group: 30 Oct – 5 Nov, at 6pm.

 

The Second Group: The drawings will be submitted between 30 Oct – 5 Nov 2023.

Like Collection of 2nd Posting Group: 6 Nov – 12 Nov 2023, at 6pm.

 

The Third Group: The drawings will be submitted between 6 Nov – 12 Nov 2023.

Like Collection of 3rd Posting Group: 13 Nov – 19 Nov, at 6 pm.

 

*After 30 top drawings are selected, if your child really wants to display the original drawing, please contact us as soon as possible.

Onsite Voting

 

The Top 30 drawings will be printed out on A3 size and exhibited in our CCT Lavender Farm. We are excited to invite all our customers (both café and farm visitors) to give your favorite drawing a valuable vote. Your preference will determine the Top 8 little artists drawings. (onsite voting will start from 02/12/2023, end by 07/01/2024 at 4 pm)

 

 

Prizes

​

The top 8 little artists will receive a $50 dollars Art and Graphic store voucher, $50 dollars CCT Lavender Farm café voucher, a CCT Lavender Farm Family pass for 2023-2024 season and a set of little artist postcards as a personal collection.

The remaining 22 artists will receive CCT Lavender farm Family pass for 2023-2024 lavender season.

 

 

We’d like to send appreciation to all families, little artists, staff working at Heart Kids NZ. Every child is a special star, we hope to see all stars shining together.

• Drawings submitted will remain the property of the participant.

• By submitting the drawing, the participant gives CCT Lavender permission to crop, alter, transform reproduce and combine with any other works, or text for the drawing submitted in any way; in any current or future media (including, but not limited to, print, digital and the internet),
